Mike recorded “Millennium Bell” at Roughwood Studios and wrote, produced, played guitar, and arranged all the tracks. All the orchestration was recorded live in just one day at Abbey Road Studios with conductor/arranger Robyn Smith and The London Session Orchestra.

The incredible power of the choral sections of the album were provided by The London Händel Choir, and The Grant Gospel Choir with additional vocals by Nicola Emmanuel, David Serame, Miriam Stockley, Camilla Darlow and St Paul’s treble Andrew Johnson.

Simply Red’s drummer Gota Yashiki also appears on the album.
