The event is being held at Cafe Mondial at the University of Reading with a free car park and easy public transport from Reading railway station. Reading railway station is also easily accessible from Heathrow Airport in using the Reading RailAir coach service. National Express coaches also run services from other airports and locations to Reading.
Hotel There are 36 rooms at the nearby Cedars Hotel. The hotel which is just a few minutes walk from the convention venue, re-opened in February 2013 after a complete refurbishment. To reserve hotel rooms please fill out the online form and submit the completed form or call +44 (0) 118 378 8906 during office hours. Please use the code TB40 when reserving your room. If you wish to have breakfast please book this at reservation time. Rooms are £54 per night and breakfast is available for £9 extra per person. There are 34 doubles and 2 twin rooms. Double rooms have one double bed suitable for two people. Twin rooms have two single beds. Some rooms have disabled access and this should be requested when booking the room. You are responsible for paying your bill at the end of your stay. Rooms at the Cedars hotel are still available on Friday 5th, but have now all been booked by our visitors on Saturday 6th July.
Alternatively, the Premier Inn in Reading is about 1.5 miles away, and does still have rooms available at competitive rates.
Location for convention, hotel and parking Here is a location map of Reading University Whiteknights Campus. Use the Shinfield Road entrance if you are visiting the convention and the Pepper Lane entrance if you are also staying at the Cedars Hotel. The convention and gigs are in building 29. If you are driving, use car park P4. The hotel is building 55 and use car park P9 or P15.
